Explanation Rant

Hey. This site is intended to be a travel blog (the only valid sort of personal blog) of my time in Rome. Most likely it will eventually deteriorate into a more general scope, but I'll try to keep the lameness/personalness to a minimum.

On the name. In addition to being a cheese, Gorgonzola is a small town near Milan. I really wanted to make up an emotional story about my strong ties to the town and the cheese (with a colorful story or two about how my fictional ancestors made it in the traditional way for many centuries and their various cheese related hijinx) but you wouldn't have bought it.

The real story is I like cheese, gorgonzola has an interesting name (say it aloud a few times. Gor-Gon-Zola. It's fun.), and there's a restaurant in Rehoboth Beach called Taste that puts gorgonzola in everything. When I was on vacation there with friends (Rob, Kev, Tris, Bao, Nong, Sam, Whitney & Rachel) we actually went back two consecutive nights because the tomato gorgonzola soup was so damn good. Great food, shitty hostesses though.

Oh. And the picture with the title is a photo of Lower Delphi I took when I was in Greece with SigEp. Seems kinda misleading, but I wanted to make this site before I left. It definitely beats studying for the LSATs.
